Hello all. First time, short time. Wanted to see if I was doing everything right for my tank so I wanted to ask you guys. First, of course, I will give you details on my tank. I have 3 castle ornaments: 1 X-Large and 2 large...I got them from Petco so any of you who shop there should know which ones I'm talking about...so I assume it's plenty of hiding space. I have the x-large one in the middle and the large ones on either side of it. I have 2 rainbow rocks...I think they're the rainbow rocks...they are smooth white rocks with a bit of red streaks on them. I have 2 live plants along with artificial plants...4 x-large, 2 mediums, and 4 small put in good spots around the ornaments as well as 2 floating artificial plants (used for fish fry to hide in and they just float around with the current)...I have more artificial ones of various sizes but not sure whether or not to put them it. Don't want it to look or feel cluttered for the fish.

Temperature always stays the same, 76. Water levels are stable. PH at 7.2. Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates at 0. Using a fluval 305 and have never seen my tank this clear...not even when I was using 2 marineland dual bio-wheel 350s. I have a red sea freshwater master kit and do all the necessary service checks and water changes. 10-15% water change every 2-3 weeks if all good or once a week if nitrite levels go up a bit which hasn't in a long while. I feed them every other day and make sure that I'm not overfeeding them.

I have 2-redtailed black sharks, 8-tiger barbs, 4-green tiger barbs, 3-angels (2 marble and 1 a yellowish color), 2 freshwater flounders (I put aquarium salt for them about once a week or so as instructed by someone in my LFS), 2-emerald green cory cats, 1-pleco, and 2-dwarf neon gouramis. I purchased them little by little, not all at once since I've heard this will dramatically change the water levels. BTW, I've purchased all of them while still small...the gouramis seem to be almost fully growned if not already but they haven't bothered anyone and no one has bothered them. One swims around curiously and the other one just hides amongst the plants sometimes lying on the gravel. I thought maybe he was getting ill but he hasn't lost colored, eats regularly, and hasn't done anything irratically.

I think that's about it. I guess I'll know if I missed anything with your comments, questions, etc. Thanks for any help or answers you have.
