could iuse logs cut straight from a tree in my aquarium,or does it have to be bogwood or driftwood?
 
well the tree should be dead and dried
 
I tried this using a peice of wood I found. I had it constanty soaking in wter, and this water was changed every day with near-bowling water, I also took off all the bark. at about the 4th week the wood was rtting to much and I threw it out.

note this was done in a bucket
