My convicts laid eggs 2 nights ago and everything was fine. Now the eggs are slowly turning white and the parents are too busy gaurding the eggs to do anything. Should i remove the eggs , or let them be. PLEASE :help:
if the parents have been guarding them but they're still turning white, the likelyhood is that they were not fertilized to begin with. eggs that are well tended do not fungus. i'd just leave them in the tank ... the parents should eat them soon.
often, the first few spawning attempts are failures since the male is not yet mature enough or inept at the process of fertilization. give them some time.
