I just bought a 20g tank on Sat. I set it up up and everything. I wanted to know exactly how to cyle my tank so I can introduce my fish I plan to get cichlids and a pleco.

While you are reading and deciding which way you wish to cycle it, you may want to research your fish a little better. Make sure the fish you want will actually work in a 20g tank. Especially the pleco.

It's better to cycle without fish, because the ammonia and nitrites present in a cycling tank can damage and even kill your fish.
