How big is the tank? What king of goldfish do you have?

how big is the tank? are you doing water changes and other basic maintenence? A depressed goldfish is probably a stunted goldfish, only a larger tank will help here, more fish will make it worse.

If your tank is a big enough size, and you read that list, please do not put buenos aires tetras with fancy golds, there really bad fin nippers and would make a good meal of the goldfisahes fins, and they also like larger snails and any shrimps in my expierence.
