water level question for sump

I just got a sump for my 120 gallon reef.

It has a built in skimmer which empties over bio balls then thru sponge baffles and into return area.

when I cut power,how high should level be in sump?

the weir stays full also as I have a durso standpipe.
 
I would say, any height as long as it doesn't overflow.

One of the best way to avoid reverse sihponing water back to sump is to drill a hole on thr return just below the usual water level.
