Ok i kinda have two questions... first off is i just got a nitrite tester and tester on my mom's 10 gallon...she has like 5 fancy guppies and like 5 neons in it and the nitrite showed like 1 to 1.5 ppm the water was low so i told her to fill it up and do a water change soon and it said somthing about adding salt to help cut down on the nitrite poising will just more regular changes help clear that up...

she is going to buy a 20 gallon cause 10 gallons suck basically and she likes those lil guppies so you can fit a few more in a 20 and the water will be easier to take care of.....but ive never kept those types and i was gonna set up the 20 and wanted to set it up to proper levels those fish like, im not sure if they like higher ph or lower or harder water or cooler water, so if anyone keeps these types i could use the info. Im more of a larger cichlid keeper..and plus i tested my tanks for nitrites and they test out 0 ppm so i must be doing somthign right
