my ph is too low for my mollies in the brashish tank

Short term, don't do anything drastic. PH up from the local fish store or walmart will do, but make the change slowly. I'll let others chime in as I'm not sure enough of hwat that means exactly to risk your mollies' lives guessing..

Consider adding some crushed coral to your substrate for buffer for better long term control.

What's the pH out of the tap?

The best thing you can do is DONT use any chem's.
Fish can stand almost any pH as long as it is kept stable, Or is not very drasticly(SP?) high or low to the prefered pH for the fish.

I would test the pH out of the tap, what you do is take a clean glass, fill with water and test that in 24 hours, that will give you the pH of your water.

Try to keep the tank at that pH all of the time, then the fish will not be shocked when you do your water changes.

Thats just my $0.02.

thanks

:dive: thanks, I will test the tap water and go from there. this might help my fresh water tank as will. It's a 33gallon with tetras and flying foxes, simeise algie eater, cory catfish, betta, coolie looch. I am having problems with deases, and my water tests good. :dive2: ps I have lost a lot of fish to the deases.
