View Full Version : Platy nipping my cory!!
I have a couple of redwag platys and all of a sudden the female platy keeps nipping one of my albino catfishes. She is actually stalking him and pecking at him! She has even left a red mark on his back. I am going to move the platy's to a different tank because of this..but has anyone else had this problem? My poor little cory!

well, just make sure his fins don't get infected. I had this problem with a betta and a goldfish!(LOL).

My platies constantly pecked at my pleco. Mean little buggers!

I have exactly the same problem! I have just started a thread without realising that you already had. I have tried everything from solitary confinement, to 24+ hours in darkness. I eventually decided the only option was to remove the platys. You may have to do the same as it could lead to death, like mine did.
