Can you name this fish?

I'm trying to find the name of a snake like bottom feeder that usually goes in sand aquariums and that has the color of orange and black stripes similar to clown loaches. I think it's a loach or something but not sure been long time ago.

Could it be a Kuhli loach also known as a coolie loach

They're really pretty, but all mine died within a week. So did all the ones still at the store, and apparently the same thing happened the previous times the store ordered kuhlis. So I took a chance and special-ordered six "black kuhlis." I think they're actually eel loaches. They're healthy, active and highly entertaining. Get your kuhlis, and if they all kick the bucket give "black kuhlis" a try. BTW, neither species does well as a single specimen. You'll want at least four and the more the merrier.
