I am thinking about getting a small colony of yellow polyps. I have heard that they do pretty well and are relatively easy to maintain. I read somewhere that you should try to feed them brine shrimp on occassion... is that true? I know Bubble corals don't mind an occassional feeding, but I never heard of a polyp needing it.

Any advice on Yellow polyps and care of them would be appreciated.

you can feed them. They will eat just about anything small and meaty. However i would suggest cyclopes-eez instead of brine. It is more nutritious.
anyways, you can feed them, and it will probably make them mulitply faster, but if youd ont feed it, you wont see any ill effects.

Thanks for the quick response! I have hear a lot about that cyclops-eeze product, do you dose that with a pipet or something?

yeah. i use a pipette and just thaw it in a little bowl with water, then suck some up, and target feed. some people just poor it in and let the powerheads blow it around, but you are less likely to feed the coarls taht you need to then. Your fish will also love it.
