Hi Everyone. I have had freshwater for years and want to convert to S/W. Thank you to everybody who gave me the good sites to start out. I have a question that I can't find a specific enough answer. I live in an apartment building right now on the 6th floor so I have the smallest tank of my life-20g tall. What can I do with this size as far as S/W. I am going to be moving in a year or so, when I want to have a 90G S/W so I want to play around with S/W before I spend a lot of money. My BIG question is can I put 2 clownfish in this tank and some live rock?? If not, what do you guys recomend for a smaller tank that I will enjoy and is good for a S/W beginner. I have already read that trigger fish get too big and see horses are hard to care for which kills 2 out of 3 I was thinking of. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
Thank You

if you know for absolute certainty you are going to get a 90 in a year, you could go with small clowns. really depends on the clown some get 3 inches some get 6. if not go with a goby/firefish something like that nothing to big.
just research b4 you start on this endeavor. And allow plenty of time dont rush things.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know why I am so unsure of myslef. I have always done very well with F/W and I have helped a lot of people. It just seems like the whole S/W thing is to complicated so I want to try it out in myh 20g first. What is the minimum tank size you would recomend for clownfish?

Thanks. Anybody with a S/W have any advice on this? I know it is difficult with a smaller tank. Any S/W fish/Rock....better for this tank. I really want clownfish, however I don't know the first thing about S/W fish. Thanks

Take a look at the nano fish (http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?pCatId=2124) at LiveAquaria.com. I have a 20g long I'm going to be setting up this weekend and I'm planning on a clown, firefish, and a midas blenny.
