Hello all! I am a newbie to freshwater fish, and just started my first aquarium last week. I have a sweet little black molly with some fungus, and have also just started a qt. I went ahead and regulated my water, & added some fungus medicine. I tested the water, and I am getting a high alkalinity reading. Could this be from the color of the water, since it's blue? I use a 5 in 1 test strip, and it says my ph level is around a 6.8. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! Ema
