So I'm at a loss!!! 20g tall, 1 year old tank/ (moving clowns to 80g soon)
A= 0 Weekly 30-50% water changes
Nitrite=0
Nitrate = 10
Just one of my clown loaches is pretty sick. It started off with him getting little holes in his body. They would start as a dull spot, turn white, and then become a little white hole. He had two on one side, one on the other side and one on his nose. I dosed with Maracyn 2 for 2 weeks and the holes closed up. He always ate and was active.
NOW he has become much less active and lays on his side, ( I thought this was normal for loaches) until I saw that his belly is swelling up. He has a big lump on his chest and his belly looks bloated too. (can't get pics today, sorry). I'm really worried that we might lose him, I don't know what to do. We dosed with Pazi-pro for parasites, but no one else in the tank is sick at all...that's what makes me think that it's something more seroius with just the one loach.
