New tank problems--Too Hot!!!

Just set up a new tank last week-48"x18"x30"T-ocean clear 340 filter,lifeguard quiet one 4000hh pump,coralife 48" lunar w/ compact 4-65 watt
Temp stay at 87D F. any idea's on how to get the temp lowered--Room is around 80D f
 
With the room so hot, you're going to have a hard time getting the temp down. Most likely, your seeing the temp up from room temp because of the internal pumps. There are many things you can do to stabilize temp, but nothing short of a chiller is going to get the temperature down very much. Sorry. Why is the room that hot?
 
unplug the heater(s). though they may be set for a temperature below your current ambient, they still can cycle and any heat beyond what you've already got is not good.

leave the lights off. ambient lighting is fine and those hooded fluorescents can add significant heat to a tank.

a small fan such as a computer cooling fan, blowing across the water surface 'can' lower the water temperature as much as 5°.

more water turnover can bring more water to the surface which, since your room temp is lower than your tank temp, may help to cool the water a little.
 
You could try making a misting device for the return on the pump. Something like what they use to mist fruits and vegtables at grocery stores. Just probably not as fine a spray. This would increase evaporation, but should help cool the tank. If your temp is at 87 you should have high evaporation anyway.
 
Too Hot

Thanks for all of the response--I thought about putting another A/C unit in the room Currently I have a 75 Gal Hex and a 115 Gal tank in my office which is about 15 by 15. The 75 gal runs about 84D F and the fish seem ok * angels and 4 Servum 1 Pleco. I thought about a chiller, but they are quite expensive.
With high temp's and high ph (around 7.8) I thought about getting rid of the angels and servum and possible go with African's?? Any idea's? I also thought of maybe going with twp Magnums instead of the Ocean? or maybe a wet/dry??
