I have 2 Gold Gouramis and 4 Guppies in the aqaurium now... 1 male, 3 females for the Guppies... not sure on the Gouramis
The male has quite vibrant colors, and I ppurchased the fish last night from Petcetera.
On inspection and all through until today they seem in proper shape, no bites or anything on them, and it has been fine for the first 5 or so hours today, but when I just went to look now, it appears the male guppy has had a small nip taken out of his back fin?
Could this be the Gourami... whenever I'm looking I haven't seen too much aggressive behaviour. I think I saw one attempt to nip a female on the back tail but other then that I haven't seen anything?
Worried that the Guppy is going to get Fin Rot or if it will be alright?
Should I be taking back the Gouramis... This is my first tank and I wanted friendly community fish with no problems of fighting at all....
I could also give one Gourami to my friend and he could place it in his tank fine, and that would leave me with only one.
Input appreciated thanks...
