Ok, i want to get some fish but i dont know what kinds to get. Ive had fish before when i was younger but i didnt really know what i was doing and the all died pretty quickly. So now im gonna try again but, as i said i really dont know what good starter fish would be. Im thinking of getting a small 10 or 15 gallon tank. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I kind of want an albino rainbow shark... do you think thats a good idea?

Read The Freshwater Aquarium for Newbies (http://aquafacts.net/showthread.php?t=415) and use the freshwater fish photos and profiles at age of aquariums (http://www.aquahobby.com/e_gallery.php) to decide wich species you like. There is a list of tank sizes here (http://www.thekrib.com/TankHardware/size-chart.html). There is enough info in these links to tell you: what species of fish you want and can get in a particular tank size, what size of tank to get and how to set up an aquarium.

After all thats done, come back here and post:
what size tank your getting
what fish species you want/can have in the tank size you decided on
how you are setting the tank up

Sounds like a good mix. If you were to go with a smaller species of corys(2 inch/6cm or less) you could fit 6 neons in there as well with no problems.

And on your first purchases, ensure you budget for a good master liquid test kit, that can test for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and hardness. These will be valuable in judging the progress of your cycle and to help solve issues in the future.

panda, leoperd, sterba's, tail spot, guapore', pygmy(you could have 8 or 9 of these), rio salinas or (not a cory) ottos. Thres many more on the site I gave you. anything under 6cm will work.
