Cichlids, may invest in some, questions!

Hello, Im back into the fw hobby and have seen very many cichlids and love thier colors. I am wondering which cichlids are compatible with a planted tank and wont uproot them.
 
it would be far easier for us if you named some cichlids YOU'RE interested and have us tell you if they will eat/uproot plants. there must be a thousand cichlid species and for us to tell you which will or will not mess with plants is a daunting task.
