Asked this in the Newbie Forum w/o thinking straight. Can I hang the pump. filter, & heater all at the same corner of my 10g tank? It's the only way I can plug them all in.

yes you can, just make sure that the air from the pump does not get into the filter intake (assuming it is not a UGF). It may cause a air bubble in the system.

From what I've read, it is sometimes good to have the heater at the same end as the filter/pump so that the warmed water is circulated and not just sitting in one place.

You definatly want the heater in a water current so that it circulates the heat.
