I have a male GBR with raised scales. He has had them for a while. He only had them on one side, and he seemed healthly otherwise so I didn't think much of it. He is the only fish to have them, and his mate doens't have them. The last couple weeks with school I've been super busy and haven't been doing my tank maintance. Now he has more of them on both sides and some look redish. I think they have gotten worse due to water quality issues. I would like to make them go away for good, any ideas what they could be or what other info you might need. I don't have a camera, but if you guys need pictures I'll check around to see if I can borrow one.
I didn't plan on listing my tank specs as I think his scale issue has gotten worse because of poor water. but you if guys still want them let me know and I'll post some when I finally get a chance to do all my tank stuff tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
