Hello,
I am new here and was wandering if anyone could tell me how Prime detoxifies nitrates. I know that the only way to effectively get rid of nitrates is through water changes or through having live plants in your tank, which I do not. I perform a 20% weekly water change every week on my 46 gallon swordtail tank and use Prime as my water conditioner. I am not having any problems with my tank, I am just curious as to what Prime does to nitrates to detoxify them.
