The center brace on a 55gal I purchased is cracked. Didnt notice until I filled it up. Now is it possible for me to take the bottom trim off the bottom and put it on the top and the top one on the bottom and use lots and lots of silicone to glue it back they are the same thing and the center brece on the bottom one isnt broken

you could probably get away with that, but it sounds risky. Is it possible to fix the crack with a strong epoxy? Maybe you could attach some plastic pieces with epoxy to bridge the cracked part for strength. I've never done this, but I've wondered if it might work out.

Repair it... It will be a safer fix and a lot easier. As stated get a good 2 part epoxy and assuming it is plastic get a piece of plastic that you can put underneath the brace (so that it is not easily seen) and epoxy it to the brace.

umm its kinda too late now i just got the top trim off the tank and in one peice except for the center brace looks like its stuck on with silicone so I will just put alot more back on The tank is still solid i now have the 2 peices of trim switched just waiting for everything to cure hopefuly it will work they were not siliconed on the tank very well in the first place kinda easy to take off. wouldnt the botom trim be more for looks rather than support unlike the top??

Both are for support... There is a lot of preassure on the seams and the trim is what keeps it together. I had a tank that someone cut the center support out of and that sucker blew apart after a day or so at the seams. I resealed the tank and made a new support for it and it was all good...
