I have tried for months to get set up and raise baby angels..finally after struggling with fry..4 have made it to 4 weeks free swimming.
let me tell you ..I have learned a ton..and it is truly amazing to see the babies change almost daily.
from tiny wigglers to free swimmers with no real features..to tiny angles(mini-me's) the size of a pea..I can watch them for hours as they swim along feeding on whatever is in the tank.
I feed BBS that I hatch out in a gallon jar..the tank gets daily water changes( I learned to us a small airlinehose to siphon the crud and catch it in a clear bowl)
i have an established grow out tank ..it's in the garage and there are natural food sources to supplement the bbs...
I think it's something I'll continue to do :thm:
