2-18w 50/50 or 2-13w 6700K

as you can see in my sig, i have aqualight and it has dual 18watts 50/50(actinic and 10000K).
i was thinking of diy-ing a light to replace the aqualight that i have.
from AHsupply, 2-13watts kits.

how yellow is 6700K or 5000K? if anyone has a side by side comparison, could you please post the link or the picture

Ditch the 50/50s if you're looking to grow plants. 5000K is what I have in my tank. See my thread "My shot at a planted tank." It's pretty yellow, but I like it for plants. 6700K is less yellow. If you're doing two bulbs, get one of each!
 
i guess ill go with 10000k and 6700k, one of each.
