what do...

Not surprising, but they will quickly overwhelm that 1.5g. You may have to start pulling them after a certain size or you’ll have more than you know what to do with.

Flagfish: How did u get the pondsnails to breed so quick. I have 3 F8's and I tried breeding pond snails so they can have food, but they didnt do anything. I think they laid eggs once, but ate them.

What do ur pond snails look like? Cause theres 2 different ones in the pond where i get mine. Theres black snails that stay under water and then theres brown coloured ones that like it out of the water and there shells r pointy.

Thanks

Lokel

ye i think they r the brown 1s that go outta water 2. the tank aint filtered i just put there water and plants in there. i wasnt intending on breeding them

Im pretty sure that snails, like fish, need good water quality to breed. Meaning, water agitation, preferably filtration or barring that, frequent water changes, food (lotsa food = lotsa snails). Flag, unless you want to be overrun with snails, get rid of the eggs asap.

How are you helping the environment? (not being snarky, honestly wondering as to your reasoning). If you are planning to release the baby snails, you shouldnt even have caught the ones you have. True, since you got them from "the wild" and you will return them, its not as bad as releasing a nonnative species, but the pond you got them from will only support so many living things. Putting more stuff in there is only going to upset the balance.
