I am looking at an Ebay Auction for Bio Safe and Bio Coat. The auction is selling the two 17.20 fl. oz for $12.00 plus shipping and handling. I have used the Bio Safe and it works well from what I can tell. I just wanted to know if anyone had any positive or negative experiences.

Probably not what your looking for, I'm a down to basics guy. No additives, unless for chlorine/chloramine. Extreme cases, Bio Spira because you can't wait or screwed up the tank start to begin with (from lack of knowledge or bad advice), or meds for a disease you know vice shot gunning it. Other than that it is snake oil.

Then again, I love carbon and shouldn't. What works for some, doesn't work for others.

Actually, I got the tech at Marineland to agree with me that unless your fish is actually injured, you don't need no stinking Bio Coat or any of that stuff :D

If you want I can dig up the email for that, but a copy of it is in the forums here somewhere.

And frankly the last thing your fish needs when it's hurting is something irritating it to produce more slime.

Just my 2 cents,

Roan

Thanks. I was only interested because I am running low on Bio-safe and buying the two together is a great deal. I'll just stick to the water conditioner which I can still get for a good price.
