I tested my tank water today and the nitrate level was either 1.6 or 3.0(colours r to close to tell). I did a 20% water change 1 hr ago to get some medicine out of my tank. Then did the test. I use bottled water for my tank.
Is the reason why the nitrate level is so high is because i just did a water change? I would have thought that would have brought it down. I have a bio cartridge in th filter that is suppose to get that out. Is there a way that i car bring it dwn without using chemicals?
