Hello,

my small planted betta tank has a white film over the inside of the acrylic. Its slimy and when i rubbed my fingers against it, it comes off. Does anyone know what it is? It makes the acrylic look cloudy.

I asked the LFS this a few weeks ago and was told it is a stage of alge.

Had the same thing happen recently on just my acrylic. A good wiping removed it, hasn't returned. Figured it was some kind of algae.

I think it's fungus.
