This MorningI have noticed that all five of my juvi Cichlids have bloated stomachs! They seem to be exhibiting the signs as well like not coming to the top of the tank to eat and hiding! What should I do?? Please HELP!

the vast majority of Mbuna are nearly strict vegetarians. if you feed them too much protein they will succumb to bloat. the intestinal tract of these fish is designed for slow, constant bacterial processing of the large quantities of algae they consume.

I feed them Formula Two Flakes by Ocean Nutrition once a day. There bellies sizes are now starting to go down and they are acting back to normal. I also performed a 50% water change.
