R.I.P. Petey

This is a dedication to one of my favorite fish, Petey, who recently passed. Petey was a pearl gourami. He was always so outgoing and would come up to the glass and look at me, and I could of swore he posed for pictures when I busted out my camera.


I may sound a little crazy, but I love Petey. I just buried him today, along with making him a little tombstone, which simply says 'Petey' with a little fish drawn on. Nothing crazy, just me painting on a rock. You don't have to reply to this. I just thought it would be nice in his memory. I'll post some pictures of him later.

Only a day or so. I buried him yesterday, and he died the day before. I kept him in the freezer for the day.

Its actually very respectful to treat a beloved pet in that fashion.

no wonder he died..... sorry i couldn't resist. Seroiusly now i know i would be beat up if i lost one of my guys so sorry for your loss

I kept him in the freezer AFTER he died. I couldn't bury him the day he died because it was pouring outside.

i feel your pain my fish died when i was five and i cryed for 3 weeks.
