My dog died

We have been fighting his heart condition for a few months. Lots of different drugs, specialists etc.


On Saturday, his heart finally stopped.


I was holding him in my arms when it happened. He was an 8 yo Chihuahua so this was well before his time.


One of my other dogs was beside me when it happened. He gave his brother kisses. Poor dog has been moping around the house since Saturday. He obviously misses his brother.



I just needed to type the words.

so sorry to hear it, Shelby.... you were with him as well as his brother in his time of passing which I think was best.... he will come around (his brother), as well as you..... all you need is time...**hugs**

Much better that he was in your warm and caring arms than on a cold stainless steel table at the vet's (this is not to downplay the enormous contribution DVM's make every day for pet owners who have to say a final goodbye).
