Well, first I had a problem with the penguin 350 not fitting my 30" tank because of the crossbar. Now the replacement 280 hits against my glass canopy so close, that it must be an issue with water flow. In addition, it comes so far back, I can't open the front canopy because the emperor comes up so far, that the front of my light interferes with the lifting of the door.
So frustrating!
What should I do.. I'm considering exchanging it for an AquaClear... The Emperor looks big... The Aquaclear isn't much smaller, but the intake is on the opposite side thatn the emperor.. and that works better for me.
What's the best location for the intake.. in the center? or in the corner?
