I rescued this fish from a kid back in Atlanta. He said it was sold to him as a Green Terror, but to me it looks more like Aequidens Metae. Although, it does show signs of being stunted with those large eyes. He's about 5 inches long and the kid had it in a 30G tank. He's been in my 55G for quite awhile now, eating like a pig and defending his territory from tankmates. What do you guys think? Stunted Green Terror or Aequidens Metae?
It just occured to me that I should have added this to the cichlid forum. Sorry, feel free to delete it.

Yeah, check out this link. (http://www.jackspets.com/freshwatercichlid1.htm)
On the top right of the list is a small photo of Aequidens Metae. It looks exactly like it. I was bummed about a green terror being stunted, so if this fish has reached his max size, I'm happy. His color is coming back too. He was really pale when I got him. When I first put him in my tank, he was very withdrawn and just hid. Lately, he's been more aggressive and acting like a cichlid.

No doubt after checking out that link. It is a Metae, and a cool looking fish. I will have to add it to my database.
