Uhh is my tank screwed?

It's a glass tank ... the center peice that goes across just came off on one side... 80 gallons ...

Should I quickly unfill it or what man?

That was so odd.
 
yeah so like i lowered it a couple inches to take some of the pressure off.. Why'd that peice pop off in the first place? :/ Is it possible I filled it too much?

there was about an inch and a half from the waterline to the top of the tank ...
 
are you talking about the plastic border lining?

like in the middle of the tank at the top theres a glass peice that goes across ... from the front wall to the backwall ...

I've had the tank filled for about a day and this peice just popped off the front wall .. like came right out of the 'glue' ... >.<
 
no, I think that was just a divider in case you were to use two covers, and unless you're using multiple covers with lights, you're not screwed.
 
its made out of pretty thick glass there ... Are you sure it's not there for a reason? Why would it just pop off man ......

I noticed with my tank full the glass bows out in the middle about an inch which is why it popped off...
 
Your glass tank should not be bowed out an inch, that seems like a problem.

How much can you fill these tanks? :/ i left like an inch or so on the top .. Is it my tank or did I fill it out too much?
 
I think either you filled it too much, or it is a built in defect.
