Hi, i am new here and i am realy interested in raising fish. I used to have seahorses, they would court and once i had some babies but they died and about 2weeks ago my last seahorse died. I have a 55 gallon reef tank,a week ago i got an anthia and a sebae clown and yesterday i got a mate for the clown he is much smaller than the first clown i got. The larger one is also acting aggressivly to the younger, smaller one. What should i do to incourage mating?

Play some violin music? :)

Seriously, as far as I've been able to read just keep the tank water as perfect as you can get, and water temp stable.. And nature will (hopefully) take its course :)

well if the clowns do end up pairing, which isnt a garentee, they still have to reach sexual maturity which would be at the least when they reach two years old. If youw ant to raise clownfish, get the book "clownfishes" bu Joyce D Wilkerson.
