Ok So i was cleaning out the tank today and in the container i was cleaning out the fake plants in i saw little bugs, and i mean little, like a piece of dirt skittering around the bowl and they attached themselves to a snail then moved on... i watched a couple of them just going around the bowl.. and they are smaller than fleas, but that is all i could think of..

anyone know if these are parasites or some other kind of odd thing? i vacuum every week with a water change of 50% and it is a 10gal.. i'll try and get the water parameters up soon if it helps.

thanks guys! n gals!

I had something similer to this several years ago when i had a large homemade tank set up (it was around 110-150 gal maby more) I kept native american fish (and still do) they were approximatly flea size but if i recal they were white, or light grey, i looked at one under a magnifying glass. I later put some shiners in the tank and I think the shiners hunted them all down. they never were a serious problem though, I wana say that they stayed in the tank like 3-4 months or so. This was before i even had an internet connection so i was unable to get any kind of an id.
