Well. My day has been pretty horrible. My little brother decided that since my gourmi fry are babies, they sound be given a bath. So he poured a bunch of bubblebath solution into my tank without me knowing.
So now I have millions of dead gourami fry. So much for that.
Sometimes I want to kill him.

ack! That is horrible!
Last Christmas I had a party for my family/friends and one of my good friends brought over her adorable 1 ½ year old boy. I walked into my bedroom just in time to keep him from taking a hockey stick to my 30g. (Don’t ask why I have a hockey stick in my bedroom) It could have been a real mess if I hadn't caught him in time, not to mention how upset I would have been if I had lost any of my babies. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry for the fish but why is a 3 yr old able to grab bubblebath anyway?
What if he decided to drink it? Might not do anything but who knows, next time it might not be bubble bath.

What if he decided to drink it?
I would expect that after he finished vomitting, he would never drink it again. :D
You cannot lock everything out of a toddler's reach....you simply have to teach them to not touch....worked for me and my daughter.
Sorry about the gouramis, supgourami.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear about the babies. I don't know what it is with little boys and wanting to wash things. When I was younger I had a marbled angel fish and my younger brother who was about 4 or 5 at the time thought it should have a bath so he took it out and proceeded to wash it. The poor fish didn't make it and we still talk about the incident during holiday dinners!

one time when i was little, we were at a chinese resturant and i kept grabbing for the hot mustard and my parents kept taking it away, and i kept reaching for it, so they finally just let me have it. i drank some, threw up, and never touched the stuff again

I know the feeling. Sucks doesn't it? But don't let the situation mean more than the relationship. You'll get over it :)
