Is it only the male of this species that is very agressive? How do I sex this fish? How can I tell if the one I have is starting to show or about to show aggression? Does feeding have anything to do with aggressive behaviour? For example, if they are all well fed, will they be less aggressive? Should I just get rid of the Chipokae?

The males are just about the meanest fish I have ever seen. I couldn't get rid of my male so I figured I'd let my Oscar eat him. The oscar wasn't interested and the chipokae ended up chasing the oscar around and messing with it after a few days. This was a fish that was about 3x its length and probably 10x its weight. Generally the males start to turn blue as they mature.

So your advice is?
Should I drop him/her off at the lfs? Get another tank?
