I have a well-cycled 55 gallon tank. It has two mollies, a platy that may be pregnant, two guppies, one a female that may be pregnant,5 cory cats, 5 danios, and an irridescent shark that is only staying temporarily. Once he gets bigger, he's moving to an outdoor pond.

Either way, with three potentially pregnant live bearers, I can see how this could get out of control very soon. Are fish stores usually receptive to taking fish from amateur breeders? What would you do in my shoes? Get a new tank? Let the little fry fend for themselves and assume the herd will be thinned out?

The Irridescent Shark will take care of your babies. How big is the Shark?

Not only will the shark take care of the fry but the platys and mollies will eat thier own fry as well. Just keep a careful eye on the tank and if for some odd reason it is getting out of control then if you have a LFS that would be willing to accept some of the fry then that would be great too.
