I am left with 2 white clouds, a male and a female, after giving away a few and one dying. The female is absolutely swollen with eggs, it looks painful, I don't even know how she has room in there for food. The male is chasing her and displaying like crazy and even chasing away other species of fish to keep her to himself. But she's not interested.
What should I do? Is there a way to "milk" the female? The pressure on her skin must be astounding.
Should I separate one or the other minnow? Should I get one more female?
The reason I gave away the others was precisely because they were getting too randy and aggressive. But the remaining ones were peaceful for the last couple of years... until now. I raised them all from the tiny size of 1cm, and they're now over 3 years old.
