Lord knows! If the flatworms weren't enough, I have another creature!!! Oh I feel much failure here!
This creature has three things coming off his butt and he holds his butt high in the air. He has six legs all in the top half of his body (the other half is up in the air) and antennas! He walks around the bottom. He looks like some freak bug!!! What is it!!!!???

Sounds like a Dragonfly nymph or a Damselfly, there are I believe a few types so this pic may not fully match yours. They can pose a danger to very small fish/fry. Best to kill and remove from tank.

Yes! It looks very similar to the second picture! Not exactly but close! I am starting to think these snails were kept outside! So now I have two tanks full of these nasty worms that aren't reacting to the parasite clear and even though I vacuumed up TONS of those flatworms I still have TONS left! And to top it all of, I have a dragon fly nymph. UGH! Well this is one serious lesson learned!

Yep, anytime you bring in something that was raised in an outside environment, you'll get all sorts of hitchhikers.

It's tremendously exciting and fun if you're setting up a native tank (I spent plenty of summers watching a small tank "grow" from a random handful of pond mud slopped into it), not so exciting if you're trying to create a tropical tank.

you don't need to destroy the damselfly nymph, it isn't doing any evil. just take it out to a pond and let it go! don't kill it! that's heartless!
