hello,i have had my first fowlr tank set up for about four months with no unusual problems.I do biweekly water changes using ro/di water or distilled from local store.One day my water was cloudy green and has been for about four days.My tank is 125g,wet/dry filter,mag 350 canister,approx. 60# live rock,60#live sand
50#crushed coral,three aquaclear 70 powerheads for current,700 watts vho/power compact lighting.

How much sunlight is the tank getting? That's a very unusual problem for a marine tank, and hopefully it can be cured by the same methods as with freshwater, otherwise I'm stumped.

My tank is in the basement so very minimal sunlight.Ammonia,nitrate,nitrite are all zero,ph 8.2,salinity is 1.22.

What's in the tank? Any macroalgae?

No macroalgea.
1 yellow tang
1 blue tang
4 damsels
10 hermit crabs
approx.50 snails

Does the water smell? It could possibly be a algae bloom?
