you know guys, we throw around the term "troll" on this forum like mashed potatos in a food fight nowadays, and with no one ever really knowing what it means. from what I have extrapplated, a "troll" is a child or an immature person who goes around on forums starting up trouble and annoying people. I think we use this term too arbitrarily, almost as arbitrarily as the word retarded. please everyone, calling everyone else trolls is ruining this great site and making people leave. please, be more polite and hold off on the crap-slinging and we may have a better time. tact is not for the weak.

ummm... my question was metaphorical. I was bringing up an issue about wanton criticizim at this website and how it impacts it.

actually to be blunt a troll is a person/s that are acting ridiculously dumbfounded, though many people are dumbfounded it is often hard to depict a troll. age does not matter even though you may think the younger the more irresponcible, though this may be correct it can and may not apply to all trolls.
