Here is my 55 gal. I'm new here so make me fell good. Not like crap. I do have a corycat, but to many pics, not enough space for it on the forum.

well you're probably not going to like my response but here goes: your fish may be small right now but as they grow to sexual maturity you're going to end up with many fewer fish than you've got in that 55 right now. texas and red devil cichlids are extremely pugnacious and will very likely shred the rest of your fish. your hemichromis is also a beligerant sort and will happily kill off the other fish. those fish need a 150 gallon tank in order to live amicably together and frankly, even then i think you'd have some problems. and finally, corydoras are actually a 'shoaling species' and do much better with 5-6 buddies.

you cannot simply dump a bunch of incompatible cichlids in a small tank and expect them to thrive. do some research on the mature size of the fish you expect to keep and their compatibility issues and tank size requirements before you buy them and both you and your fish will be much more successful in the long run.

agree, unless this is a growout/hold them while you setup your 150 you are in for a bumpy road ending up with one, maybe two of those fish if they are left in there.

I have 6 cichlids in my tank. These are the first we have ever owned. I have read that they like caves. SO for the mean time they have a tempory caves ( plastic containers) till I get them something else. THey seem very happy with their "caves" .

I just wanted to say that I don't know what you plan for these fish (hopefully bigger seperate tanks), but I really like your fish they are very nice. ;)

Yes.

That Red Devil Is going to kill everything around it and possibly the hemichromis too.

No its the hemichromis fasciatus I'm talking about. Those are extremely aggressive. When I put the hemichromis in, it started to nip at the red devil. So I dont think its going to kill it.

Personally I would keep the Jack and the Texas or the Firemouth
