Today is my lucky day. My wife's best friend just called her. Her father has 2 large ponds with filters and fish that he's going to give me for free if I want them. I'm going this week to check them out. I can't wait. The weird thing is that I was out pricing one today. I'm sure I'll have a lot questions.

I just got back from looking at them. I'll pic one up tommorrow and get it ready. Then get the next one at the begining of next week. They both are identical. They are odd shaped. At the longest part they are 92", the widest they are 66", and 26" deep.

I'll post pics as the project goes.

Good luck with the new ponds. Isn't this fun. It is kind of like potato chips, once you start you can't stop. :D There is always something that needs updating or for many of us the addiction of purchasing the different color varities of koi or goldfish thus the need for more ponds. Everyone thinks we are nuts because we have so many fish. I rather enjoy all the fish.

I look forward to seeing pictures once completed. Happy ponding.

I tell you what. Setting up a pond is a lot more work that setting up an aquarium. It's fun at the same time. I got it in the ground and going to plant some plants around it later this week. I'll post some pics when I get some.

My wife installed our pond...:)

I must have been at work at the time....

Hope you did not encounter any Oak tree roots!
