THANKS :bday:

Well. There are some big bushy fake plants in my tank that my fry hide in until I can get them into a little net breeder or their own tank. There are a bunch of ways to keep fry safe. First off how many fish do you have? And are they all in the 10 gallon at the moment? My best method of saving fry is to get the little net breeder basket that hangs in the tank. When the fry are born I scoop them up and put them in it. They can stay there until they are old enough to be released in the big tank. I feed them 'first bites' or finely powdered flakes You really need some kind of substrate in the tanks. I.e. gravel or sand. Small caves won't really help because the bigger fish can still get in and corner the fry. Another way is to put some netting into one part of the tank so the fry can get away. I've never tried this but I heard it works.

When you get your 29 like you want it I'd put all the fry in the 10 gallon by themselves. (Its what I've been doing lately and I've had almost a 100% survival rate)

right now all fish are in the 29 gallon and every thing is the way i want it. i have 24 fish most small 6 big i think. i do have a breeder trap but i have a saick fish in the 10gallon tank so i cant move them. i will try to fish out as many as i can. so caves wont work? still need ideas.

Uh, are you saying you have 24 fish in your 29g? What exactly do you have?

I already mentioned this in another of your posts, but the best thing for your fry is to get a large ball of java moss for them to hide in. You can also try some other thick plants like hornwort that you can just float in the tank and remove later.
