whats a troll?

I think for this site, in particular, or other advice forums, a troll can also be someone who purposefully posts inaccurate or untrue information. For whatever reason. I honestly don't know why someone would lie to someone else who is looking for help.

It's just unscrupulous, harmful, and only going to cause problems. For the site overall, it brings down our reputation. Anyone who's been following the "drama" about AC knows what I'm talking about.
 
yeah... I was a bit of that kind of troll, inadvertently, here... i've since repented.
 
It's OK, bud. You've already apologized, and it was sincere. I wasn't directing that comment at you, just putting it out there. I can tell that your intentions are good, even if the methods were a little shady. It took a lot of courage to admit it, so I forgive you.

Just don't do it again, or we'll have to beat you! Just kidding :D

Hey, no worries! I get defensive sometimes, too. I think we all do. ESPECIALLY if you've just put yourself in a vulnerable position as you so bravely did today.
