I'm really wanting ONE more fish in my tank. I dunno though. I just bought a Chocolate and he's small right now. I know they get up to 10 inches. Is there anything I can get or should I just leave well enough alone? See my sig for what I have currently.

I think you shouldn't add anything more. you might be able to, but then again maybe not. don't gamble your current fishes well-being.

In the back of my mind I figured that's what I should do.

if that 120 is a 6ft tank then you could add a fish or 2. You could go with a bottom feeder like a clown loach... I have 2 that are inseperable and i thing they look great. I also have 2 chocolates... Chocolate cichlids are a great fish... Mine keep rapidly changing colors... They will go from a brown body with red fins to an almost white body and fins with a big spot on there rear. I havent heard 10in though... Most info reads 7-8in max as far as ive researched. Do you have a mated pair of parrots or what are the sexes?

The tanks is 48" x 24". So yeah just 4 feet long. By the way I just saw that you replied to my info on Chocolates. Which species do you have? Mine is an H. coryphaenoides although I really wanted H. temporalis which is what I had before.

And for the BP's I'm not sure if one is male or not but one does lay eggs. So I guess at least one is female.

Mine are temporalis... I only just found out there were 2 species a few days ago. I think i have 2 females just because of the rounded fins but im not sure... Mine are normaly like a chocolate color with these camo spots of yellowish brown all over the top and bottom of them. Both have nice red fins. My parrots I think are male and a female... She lays eggs and they are all duds... But the bigger 1 is very protective of the eggs and also after she lays them he kinda hovers over them for a bit. Im raising 2 male severum right now to maybe give a helping hand.

Man, I'm jealous of you. Those are probably my all time favorite fish. They will definately be the next thing I get if anything I got now ever goes to fishy heaven.

PS - and yeah those fish can get up to 10 inches. I had two and they were both monsters.
