Snow Dog

Yesterday I had a my male betta, Sushi, try swimming through a hole in a terra cotta pot and he got stuck half-way in. He couldn't go forward or backwards so I had to break the pot using a hammer and pliers. He tore some flesh from his top, just before the big top fin, I forget my fish anatomy, and he's just floating around on the top, not eating and it appears the torn flesh is getting some fungus. I think he tore it struggling, I hope I didn't do it. I'm just sick, he's my little buddy and I love him. Any ideas? Thank you.

the thing I can suggest to you is try Melafix, It's gotten me out of some tight spots (pun not intended)

I am so sorry, Snow Dog. I sincerely hope someone can give you some advice that can help you save him. I was going to suggest MelaFix, too, but it sounds like he might be a bit far along...
If it's any consolation, my boyfriend (big tough guy: 6'4", 240 lbs) almost cried when I told him our betta passed away. So men do cry when it comes to their buddies.
