THis is the situation..

Our 60g tank has 3 Bosemani Rainbows, 1 Glossolepis incisus, 1 Turquise, 5 Praecox, 1 Pleco and 3 Clown Loaches. Oh, and 3 Pristilla Tetras...

about Monday of last week, we started noticing some white dots on the Clown Loaches. By wednesday, we started treatment. I raised the temp to 82 and treated with Quick Cure. At first, the outbreak spread, you could see them on the Rainbows and Tetras as well.. not a HUGE outbreak, but you could spot it.

By Tuesday of this week(6 days) The Ich was completely gone from the Clown loaches and all other fish, however, on Friday I noticed a single white spot on the Red Rainbow(Glossolepis incisus). I'm now seeing what looks like another on his head. The one on his side is STILL there.. it's been 4 days in the same location... which is odd that it hasn't fallen off.. if it's ich.
I've been treating the entire time, and had planned to through next Monday.

There is no signs of ICH on any other fish, no spots, no scratching... just thest two spots on the Glossolepis incisus.

My question.. could it be that it just took longer to develop these cysts on the Glossolepis incisus? Could it be something else? I'll say it again, there is not other sign in the tank. I am receiving some new fish Wednesday, and I don't want to introduce them to the tank if I'm treating for Ich.

I would have thought that if there was ICH in my tank, that it would be the Loaches, not the Glossolepis incisus that would have it.

Thanks...

What are you treating the ich with? Salt and heat or meds?

It's Meds... I already started before I read that I COULD use Salt in a planted tank.

It's Quick Cure.
